Warrant of arrest has been issued against the petitioner in the month of July, 2023. Earlier, petitioner was on bail. Report so submitted reflects that the petitioner was earlier granted anticipatory bail in connection with the Special Case being Asansol GRPS Case No.48 of 2022. There were conditions imposed in the order granting bail as also the order granting anticipatory bail in CRM(A) 1758 of 2023.

Let the report be kept with the record.

The warrant of arrest so issued be stayed till 5th April, 2024.

The petitioner will appear before the learned trial court/special court and in case he appears, he may be allowed to continue on the same bail and bond subject to condition that he would meet with the Investigating Officer of the case once a week, as earlier directed.

In case the petitioner do not appear or surrender before the learned special court in connection with NDPS Case No.33 of 2022 by 5th April, 2024, learned special court would issue process adhering to Section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 768 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
