Report dated 21.06.2023 submitted by Mr. Roy Chowdhury, learned advocate appearing for the State be kept on record.
The said report reflects that the complainant has expressed his desire to withdraw the present case being New Town Police Station Case No. 136 of 2022 dated 09.06.2022 under Sections 418/420/120B of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 63/69/51 of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. On conclusion of investigation of the said case, charge-sheet was filed before the jurisdictional court.
However, as there was a compromise and the disputes and differences are private and personal in nature and no public policy is involved in the transactions, I am of the view
that further continuance of the said proceedings is unwarranted.
Accordingly, all further proceedings relating to New Town Police Station Case No. 136 of 2022 dated 09.06.2022 under Sections 418/420/120B of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 63/69/51 of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 are hereby quashed.
The revisional application being CRR 712 of 2023 along with CRAN 1 of 2023 is, thus, allowed.
Other pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
