2. Petitioner before Court is the father of the child.

3. Mother of the child apparently committed suicide in 2023. Since then, the maternal grandparents of the child were and are still taking care of the child.

4. Petitioner is aware where the child is located. Petitioner possesses statutory alternative remedy.

5. We do not find any ground to invoke extraordinary writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for a writ of habeas corpus.

6. WPA (H) 17 of 2026 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
