The petitioner is aggrieved by the investigation into the FIR No.78 of 2022 dated 20th October, 2022 registered by the Maipith Coastal Police Station, Baruipur Police District. The subject matter is non-installation of VI Tower by accused persons.

Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 20th March, 2023 issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Maipith Coastal Police Station, Baruipur Police District addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record.

The police submit that four persons have already been arrested in connection with the FIR and the investigation is progressing aggressively.

Subject to the order of any Bench of this Court, the investigation may be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from date, if not already completed.

If the investigation is required to be transferred to any authority in terms of any order of this Court, the same may be done accordingly.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7.

There shall be no order as to costs.
