Mr. Arkaprabho Roy ... for the petitioner. Mr. Suman De Mr. Samarjit Balial ... for the State. This is an application wherein petitioners have assailed the order dated 20th January, 2025 passed by the court below in Sessions Case No. 52 of 2024.

A copy of recording evidence of PW 24 has been placed before this Court wherefrom it discloses that 24 witnesses have already been examined and learned counsel for the petitioners submits that 3 to 4 witnesses are left to conclude the trial. Therefore, without going into the merit, the instant application being CRR 953 of 2025 is hereby disposed of with a direction upon the court below to make every endeavour for expeditious disposal of the aforesaid Sessions Case No. 52 of 2024 and to conclude the trial within the period, directed by this High Court on 18th October, 2024 in CRM (DB) 3554 of 2024.
