The grievance of the petitioner is directed against disconnection of his electric connection and the petitioner prays for restoration of the electricity at the subject premises. The respondent Distribution Company is represented and submits that the petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy in law.

In view of the statutory remedy available to the petitioner, there is no scope for entertaining this writ petition. W.P.A. 5383 of 2021 is dismissed.

The petitioner is granted liberty to approach the statutory fora in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from date.

There shall be no order as to costs.
