Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the evidence of seven witnesses have been completed out of the 25 witnesses proposed to be examined by the prosecution. I have taken into account the accusations and the materials appearing against the present petitioner. Having considered the progress of the case and the materials appearing in the case diary, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

Accordingly, CRM(M) 584 of 2026 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
