Liberty is granted to the petitioners to add the Requiring Body, Executive Engineer Right Bank, Irrigation Department, Sonamukhi, Bankura, as respondent no.7 in the writ petition.

The petitioners' complain is that despite acquisition of their land, they have not received compensation as yet.

The State respondents submit that though requisition for fund has been sent to the Requiring Body (respondent no.7), such fund has not been placed by the respondent no.7 before the State authority.

Upon hearing the learned counsels for the parties and considering the material on record, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Requiring Body (respondent no.7) to place necessary funds before the State authority for disbursement of the same within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order. The State

respondents should disburse the said compensation in favour of the petitioners within a month thereafter. With the aforesaid directions, WPA 5392 of 2021 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to be not admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
