At the time of hearing, learned counsel appearing for the respondent E.P.F. Authorities has placed a document to show that the petitioners herein made a prayer before the E.P.F. Authorities on 27.02.2025 praying for installments to pay the amount as demanded by the Authority on the same date when the writ application was moved.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent E.P.F. Authorities has filed a copy of a letter dated 03.03.2025, wherein it appears that the E.P.F. Authorities have granted 15 installments to the petitioners herein by granting their prayer for installments to pay the outstanding dues.

The petitioners file a copy of a notice issued on 08.04.2025 by the Recovery Officer, directing recovery of the amount due from the petitioner company. It appears

that the said notice dated 08.04.2025 is in total contradiction to the letter dated 03.03.2025 issued by the R.P.F. Authorities to the petitioner granting 15 installments to make the payment.

Accordingly, the notice dated 08.04.2025 is treated as part of the record and is hereby quashed.

The instant writ application is disposed of with a direction that as the petitioner is complying with the order of the R.P.F. Authorities granting installments, no further order is required to be passed in the present writ application.

Consequently, connected application, if any, also stands disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of all necessary formalities. (Shampa Dutt (Paul), J.)
