REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 706 of 2024 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Salar Police Station Case No. 192 of 2023 dated 12.07.2023 under Sections 341/326/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code. And In Re : Loveli Khatoon & Ors.

...... petitioners Khairul Alam ...for the petitioners Mr. Mainak Gupta ...for the State Three persons were injured in an incident of assault. All three persons suffered incise injuries. So far as the injuries on two persons are concerned, the doctor opined that although they were simple in nature, they may turn grievous. In respect of one of the injured persons, doctor opined that the injury was of grievous hurt.

All the injured implicate all the petitioners before us in the incident of assault.

Apparently, sharp cutting weapons were used in the incident of assault.

Notwithstanding the police filing charge sheet, considering the gravity of the offence and the nature of injury suffered by the injured, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners and the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

The application being CRM (A) 706 of 2024 is dismissed. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Md. Shabbar Rashidi, J.)
