Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner was falsely implicated.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.). He submits that, the petitioner insulted the victim whereupon the victim committed suicide.

Learned advocate appearing for the de-facto complainant submits that, the petitioner was threatening to the de-facto complainant subsequent to the lodgment of the present police case. He refers to the complaint lodged to the police dated February 22, 2022.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that there is a complaint against the petitioner of threatening the de-facto complainant with regard to the present police complaint, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1250 of 2022 is dismissed.
