1. Typographical error in the order dated July 10, 2024 pointed out at the hearing, be corrected. In the second paragraph it erroneously went down as learned advocate appearing for the State makes over a compact disc to the Sub-Divisional Police Officer in Court. Instead of "State" appearing in the second paragraph, "appellants" be inserted.

2. Appeal is directed against an order dated January 18, 2023 rejecting the writ petition. Appeal is at the behest of the writ petitioners.

3. During the pendency of the appeal, Superintendent of Police, Purulia District vide Order No. 2681 dated July 29, 2024 engaged five of the appellants as civic volunteers as Special category of Sports in the existing vacancy of Purulia District, subject to their CA verification.

4. Court is informed that one of the appellants is under-aged at present and, therefore, could not be extended the same benefit as that of the other appellants.

5. Learned senior standing counsel submits on instructions that, the appellant who is found to be under-aged will be enrolled to the post of civic volunteer immediately on such appellant attaining the age of 18 years.

6. Grievances of the appellants being redressed during the pendency of the appeal, no further order need be passed in this appeal excepting setting aside of the impugned order due to subsequent events.

7. MAT 365 of 2023 along with I.A NO: CAN 1/2023 are disposed of without any order as to costs. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Md. Shabbar Rashidi, J.) Signed By :
