1. Learned advocate for the petitioner is present and submits that the Controlling Authority under the payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, Howrah has registered a case, being No.G106 of 2023 for hearing and grievance of the writ petitioner is redressed. However, he prays that the case may be disposed of as early as possible.

2. The same is submitted by the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the private respondent no.3. She submits that next date of hearing has been fixed on 7th May, 2024 and it may take seven months to dispose of the matter.

3. Since the grievance of the writ petitioner is redressed, the instant writ application, being WPA 4943 of 2024 is disposed of.

4. However, the respondent no.2 is requested to conclude the hearing of Case No.G-106 of 2023 within the time from of seven months.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
