gd/ssd Mr. Samrat Choudhury, Mr. Anit Dey ..for the Petitioners Mr. Billwadal Bhattacharyya, Mr. Ayanabha Raha ..for the Union of India The grievance raised in the petition is in respect of shifting of Garifa Post Office from its present location to the Premises No.573/5, R.B.C. Road under Hazinagar Post Office.

The submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that the post office in entirety has not been shifted to the new site. The further submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that the petitioners have already made the representation, annexure P-4 on 18th January, 2022 and the said representation has not been decided by the respondent no.3.

Though the learned counsel for the respondents has submitted that the post office has already been shifted and it is working at the new re-located site which is only 1.1 kilometer away from the present site, but the respondent no.3 has no objection in considering the petitioners' representation.

Hence, without adverting into the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no.3 to take an appropriate decision in accordance with law on the petitioners' pending representation, annexure P-4 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
