The petitioner is complaining inaction on the part of an authority under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955.

The said Act being a specified Act under the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act 1997, appeal against the alleged inaction of the said authority is available to the petitioner. Such being the position, the writ petition is not maintainable and is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

It is made clear that this order will not stand in the way of the petitioner to prefer an appeal before the Tribunal for redressal of his grievances.
