The petitioners are the Assistant Teachers at different schools under District Primary School Council, 24-Parganas (North).
The petitioners are not getting 'A' category scale of pay for not having six months Bridge Course from a recognized institution though they have B.Ed.
as their training qualification.
Mr. Santanu Maji, learned advocate for the petitioners submits that similarly placed teachers have been given the benefit of 'A' category scale of pay.
He prays that the issue may be relegated to the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal, the respondent no. 3 herein, for consideration. The respondent no. 3 is directed to consider the prayer of the petitioner for 'A' category scale of pay in accordance with law and to facilitate such consideration, the petitioners are directed supply the complete copy of the writ petition to the respondent no. 3.
WPA 4755 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
