Challenging the selection of the private respondent in the post of auxiliary nurse and midwife for Dingal Sub-health Centre under Debra Block and seeking direction upon the respondents to give her appointment in that post, the present writ petition was preferred.

The selection process to fill up the post was initiated in 2008. I am of the view that with the passage of time the panel prepared for the post has expired and the writ petition has become infructuous. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of without any order.
