M/s Sabyasachi Chatterjee, Suryanu Sengupta and Rahul Singh, Advocates present in court ..for the Petitioner The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated March 21, 2013 passed by the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal in O.A. No.435 of 2011 challenging order dated January 09, 2004. Original Application was filed before the Tribunal after seven years thereof. The same was dismissed on account of delay.

The present writ petition has been filed in this court more than seven years after passing of the aforesaid order by the Tribunal. The delay is sought to be explained stating that the petitioner is suffering with cancer.

However, we do not find any reason to entertain the present writ petition filed seven years after passing of the impugned order by the Tribunal specially when at every stage the petitioner had been sleeping over his rights.

WPST 18 of 2021 CAN 1 of 2021 The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
