1. Heard learned lawyers for the parties. We have considered the materials on record.

2. Statements of witnesses show petitioner was present with a knife at the spot where victim was lying dead. Trial has already commenced.

3. In view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

4. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.
