Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits he is a licensed electrical contractor and not an employee of the electric company. He along with other officers of the electric company had disconnected the de facto complainant's pump which was running through by pilfering electricity. He has been falsely implicated. He prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned Counsel for the State submits prayer for anticipatory bail of two of the officers of the electric company viz. Sujan Roy and Dhrubajyoti Sarkar had been turned down. 3.

We have considered the materials on record.

Petitioner is a licensed electrical contractor. He was working at Patiram Customer Care Centre. He along with officers of the

said Customer Care Centre had conducted a raid and seized the water plump used by the de facto complainant by illegally abstracting electricity. Subsequently petitioner demanded a bribe of Rs.40,000/- for return of the pump. In light of the aforesaid materials disclosing primary role played by the petitioner in the offence we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.
