The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Barasat Urban Junior Free Primary School, school under Barasat Circle of 24-Parganas (North) District Primary School Council.

The Council by the impugned order of transfer dated February 07, 2025 has transferred the petitioner to Maheswarpur Shib Durga Samiti Free Primary School.

The petitioner is a surplus teacher at her present school. The Council by exercising its administrative power has transferred the petitioner to another school under the same circle for the interest of education, as such this Court is not inclined to interfere with the said order of transfer.

WPA 4798 of 2025 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs.
