The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at uttar Chandrail Primary School, a school under the D.P.S.C., Malda, the respondent No.5 herein.

The petitioner is praying a general transfer on the ground of distance and he is a surplus teacher of his school.

The representation of the petitioner to that effect, dated 4th February, 2025 is pending consideration before the Chairman, DPSC, Malda, the respondent No.5 herein. The said representation forms part of the writ petition, being Annexure 'P-4'.

The respondent No.5 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law within 12 weeks from the date of communication of this order of this Court to respondent No.4.

With the above observations and directions this writ petition being WPA 4784 of 2025 stands disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
