Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that his father 17.03.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.16 Rakib was seriously assaulted with knife and other deadly weapons for which Techno City PS Case no. 35/25 dated 24.02.2025 was registered for investigation. However, the police authorities were not effectively investigating the case and the accused persons who are roaming freely were threatening the petitioner.

Report has been submitted by the State. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that two of the accused persons being Mintu Laskar and Ansar Laskar have been taken into custody, produced before the Jurisdictional Court on 26.02.2025 and presently they are in jail custody. It has also been submitted that steps have been taken for collection of materials and substantial materials have been collected and the police authorities are in a position to submit their opinion before the Court within a short span of time.

Having regard to the fact that the police authorities have put in their efforts. At this stage further

directions are unwarranted. Police authorities would take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 4858 of 2025 is disposed of.
