The petitioners say that a false complaint has been lodged against him to try and arm-twist him for extracting some money from him.

We have seen the material in the case diary. The dispute appears to be that a joint venture agreement was executed by and between three companies one of which was controlled by the petitioners. Apparently, the other two companies executed a power of attorney in favour of the petitioners. The allegation is that the petitioners misused such power of attorney and diverted funds from the two companies to their company. The amount involved is said to be approximately Rs. twenty four crores.

In view of serious nature of allegations and the huge amount of money involved and in view of the fact that investigation is going on, we are not inclined to allow the petitioners' prayer for anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, CRM 2103 of 2021 stands rejected. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
