However, State respondents, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and respondent nos. 3 and 4 are represented by learned advocates.

Ms. Koyeli Bhattacharyya, learned advocate representing Board appears on virtual mode. On behalf of Board an enquiry report dated 18th March, 2025 is placed before this Court and same is taken on record.

Learned advocate representing the Board submits that due opportunity shall be granted to

the petitioner to make deliberation before the concerned authority of the Board before concluding the disciplinary proceeding which has been initiated against the petitioner.

Though in the writ petition challenge is thrown to the charge sheet dated 12th March, 2024 but from the submission made on behalf of respective parties it appears that based on said charge sheet dated 12th March, 2024 enquiry has been conducted and enquiry report dated 18th March, 2025 is prepared. Petitioner participated in the enquiry proceeding without any demur.

Hence, at this stage Court is not interfering with the steps taken by the Board in order to bring the disciplinary proceeding initiated against the petitioner to logical conclusion.

Respondent authorities including Board are directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings expeditiously but not later than 2 (two) months from date.

Writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
