Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his objection in terms of Rule 119 of the West Bengal Motor Vehicle Act, 1989 against the approval of time table granted to the vehicle of Sk. Samsul Arefin i.e. the private respondent no.6 relating to vehicle No.WB19/7797 illegally plying in the reverse direction of the route "Kharkusma to Kolkta CBT" which is causing clash of time table of the petitioner, as sent by communication dated February 6, 2026 has not been disposed of by the concerned authorities.

Learned counsel for the State on instruction state that the objection of the petitioner shall be disposed of by the Secretary, State Transport Authority, West Bengal after giving reasonable opportunity of

hearing to the petitioner and the private respondent within a period of four weeks.

In view of the submission made the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.4, Secretary, State Transport Authority, West Bengal to consider and decide the representation dated 6th February, 2026 after giving an opportunity of being heard the petitioner and the private respondent no.6 within four weeks from the date of communication of this order in accordance with law.

The concerned authority shall communicate the decision to the concerned authorities within one week of the passing of the order.

The petition stands disposed.
