Petitioner seeks modification of the condition of bail granted on August 9, 2021.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner complied with all the conditions of the bail. The police filed charge-sheet and, therefore, the conditions for bail with regard to reporting before the police station and not leaving the district without leave of the Officer-in-Charge should be waived. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits a report which be taken on record.

The report is not adverse to the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the police filed charge-sheet, we deem it appropriate to waive the two conditions of bail namely, requiring the petitioner to meet the Officer-in-Charge of the police station within the jurisdiction of which he resides once in a fortnight and the other he shall not leave the district without leave of the Officer-in-Charge. All other conditions of the bail granted on August 9, 2021 will remain the same. Accordingly, the application being CRAN 1 of 2022 is disposed of. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.)
