In terms of the order dated 30th March, 2026, learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 26th April, 2026 of Officer-inCharge, Mohanpur Police Station, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate and same is taken on record.

Copies of the said communication dated 26th April, 2026 are made over to the learned advocates representing the petitioner and the respondent no.4.

It is disclosed in the said communication dated 26th April, 2026 that based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 24th March, 2026, FIR was registered being Mohanpur P.S. Case No.62 of 2026 dated 24th March, 2026 under certain provisions of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. It is also disclosed that investigation is going on.

In view of initiation of criminal prosecution being Mohanpur P.S. Case No.62 of 2026, no further order need be passed on this writ petition save and except directing the concerned police authority to expedite the investigation and submit report before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
