Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that no specific role was contributed by the petitioner with regard to the incident. One of the co-accused was granted bail by the Sessions Court.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that one of the eyewitnesses names the petitioner. There is a statement recorded under Section 161 of the Cr.P.C. naming the petitioner and implicating him in the incident.

Seizure of articles were made pursuant to the statement made by the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of the offence and involvement of the petitioner and also considering the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (DB) 744 of 2022 is disposed of.
