1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept on record.

2. Learned counsel for the alleged contemnor no. 2, the concerned Police Officer at the relevant point of time, submits that the police authorities is ready and willing to provide police assistance, if so sought by the CESC Limited.

3. However, since no such help was sought, there arose no occasion for the police to have given such help.

4. Learned counsel for the alleged contemnor no. 1 submits that unless a meter room is built / extended, electricity connection cannot be given to the petitioner.

5. It transpires from the order dated February 2, 2024 passed in the contempt application that a similar recording finds place in the said order. It was alleged by the petitioner that the private respondents are creating obstruction in implementation of the order of this court even to the extent of resisting the extension / construction of the meter room.

6. Learned counsel having instruction to appear for the private respondent/alleged contemnor no. 3 seeks a week's adjournment for taking appropriate instructions on the issues involved in the matter.

7. Let the matter be listed on March 1, 2024 for passing further orders.
