1. Affidavit of service and the supplementary affidavit, as filed by the petitioner, be kept with the record.

2. The petitioner's grievance is that the erstwhile school, where he had rendered service, has not provided him with the Service Book and the Last Pay Certificate (LPC).

3. Mr. Bhattacharya, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner, submits that such documents may be provided to him to enable him to continue in service in the present school with all benefits as may be payable to him.

4. Mr. Prasad, learned Advocate appearing for the erstwhile school (respondent no. 7 herein), submits that there are certain shortcomings insofar as the period of service by way of medical leave and unauthorized absence are concerned, which have to be indicated and incorporated in the Service Book.

5. Upon such incorporation, the school will hand over the Service Book and the Last Pay Certificate (LPC) by 20.04.2026. A certificate shall be issued by the

P a g e | 2 afore-stated date along with the Service Book upon adequate and necessary appropriations and adjustments.

6. With the afore-stated directions, WPA/5213/2026 is disposed of. No order as to costs.
