Learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 5 places reliance on an earlier order dated May 18, 2026, in which it was recorded that the respondent no. 5 is suffering due to the pendency of the matter and the subsistence of the injunction order passed therein. Even on that occasion, the State was not represented and a last chance was given to the State to argue the matter, making it clear that no further adjournment shall be given either to the writ petitioner or the State when the matter is next called on for hearing. 3.

Since even today, neither the petitioner nor the State is represented through their counsel, WPLRT 42 of 2026 is dismissed for default without

any order as to costs. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
