The petitioner is aggrieved by an order dated 31st December, 2008, passed by the Additional District Inspector of Schools (SE), Jhargram, Paschim Medinipore.

By the impugned order, the panel prepared by the School for selection of Group-"D" post was rejected, since the West Bengal Services (Group D Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2009, have not been followed.

The matter calls for no interference by this Court since any selection process in violation of the Recruitment Rules is ex facie illegal.

In that view of the matter, the instant writ petition must fail and is hereby dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.
