The application regarding compromise filed by both the petitioners and the opposite parties is pending for disposal. I have heard the learned advocates for the parties. Learned Public Prosecutor-in-Charge has filed a report has sent by the Investigating Officer of this case admitting the fact of amicable settlement. Therefore, the application for compromise is accepted. On the basis of the compromise, further proceeding in connection with A.C.G.R. Case no. 5361 of 2019 dated 06.11.2019 under Sections 498A/420/387/34 of the IPC and Sections 3 /4 of the D.P. Act is quashed.
The learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore is directed to drop the said proceeding and discharge the accused persons on the basis of the order passed by this court. Accordingly, the revisional application along with compromise application is disposed of.
