Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner/PNB Housing Finance Limited has approached this court complaining of inordinate delay on the part of the concerned District Magistrate in disposing of the application under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002.

The prayer is innocuous.

It appears that the matter has been pending since March 2022 and it is informed that hearing was completed sometime in 2023.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas, to dispose of the application under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 filed by the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law, upon being satisfied that the compliance as required by law, has been made by the petitioner. Necessary order shall be passed

within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.

The parties and the District Magistrate must act on the server copy of this order.
