The present writ petition has been preferred, inter alia, praying for expeditious disposal of the Original Application (in short, OA), being OA 3346 of 2016. The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, who is the private respondent in the OA, submits that the petitioner is aged about 81 years and the OA is pending disposal before the learned Tribunal since the year 2016. In course of hearing, we have been further informed that the next date of hearing before the learned Tribunal has been fixed on 13th March, 2025.

In view thereof, no interference is called for in the present writ petition and the same is disposed of with a request to the learned Tribunal to dispose of the OA as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
