And In Re : Sarajit Bhakta @ Samarjit Bhakta @ Saraji Bhakta ...... petitioner Mr. Asraf Mondal ....for the petitioner Mr. Neguive Ahmed Ms. Jonaki Saha ....for the State There are materials in the case diary suggesting that the petitioner was in a relationship with the victim. Complicity of the petitioner in the incident of gang rape and murder appears from the materials in the case diary. In such circumstances, considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 919 of 2023 is dismissed.
