Defacto-complainant recorded a statement under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. implicating the petitioner in the attempt to rape her.

Her version stands corroborated by eyewitness who saw the petitioner before us flee away from the place of occurrence. In view of such materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
