Counsel for the writ petitioner submits that the petitioner's case for compassionate employment has been recommended by the District Judge, Birbhum on 27th November, 2019.

The matter was sent for approval of the Deputy Secretary of the Judicial Department, Government of West Bengal. The Deputy Secretary has been communicated by the petitioner vide communication dated 15.02.2021. There is no reply or decision from the respondent no. 2 till date.

In those circumstances, the respondent no. 2 shall take a suitable decision in the matter within a period of three months from the date of communication of a copy of this order and the same may be communicated to the writ petitioner within ten days thereof.

Needless to mention that the respondent no. 2 shall act strictly in terms of the guidelines and applicable Rules for compassionate employment in the State in this regard.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
