In terms of the order passed by the coordinate Bench on April 9, 2024 in WPA 3268 of 2015 and other allied matters, the petitioner was appointed as an Assistant Teacher in a primary school under Howrah District Primary School Council. The petitioner is complaining that though he is performing his duty regularly but is not getting salary. The petitioner is praying release of his regular salary and arrears thereof.

Mr. Ratul Biswas, learned advocate for the Council on instruction submits that the current salary of the petitioner for the month of March 2025 would be paid by March 31, 2025 and upon bill being raised by the Sub-Inspector of School of the concerned circle, the Council shall take steps for release of arrear salary of the petitioner.

In view of such stand of the Council, WPA 4965 of 2025 is disposed of with a direction upon the Council to take appropriate steps for release of the current and arrear salary of the petitioner.
