Mr. Arjun Roy Mukherjee, learned counsel, appears for the respondent nos.3 to 9 and takes a preliminary objection with regard to the jurisdiction of this Hon'ble Court to entertain the writ petition. He refers to Section 14(2) of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 along with a notification dated 31st March, 2010 to contend that Steel Authority of India is a body that falls under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. Therefore, the writ petition is not maintainable.

In the circumstances, this writ petition, being WPA 4646 of 2022, is dismissed.

The petitioner may take appropriate steps in accordance with law, if so advised.
