The petitioners participated in the recruitment process initiated by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education in the year 2016. As the petitioners did not possess the requisite educational qualification mentioned in the recruitment notice they were treated as untrained candidates and hence were not successful. It has been submitted that the petitioners have thereafter participated in the fresh recruitment process initiated by the Board in the year 2020.

In the event, the petitioners possess the requisite qualification as mentioned in the recruitment notice for the year 2020, the respondent authorities shall consider the candidature of the petitioners in accordance with law, if not already considered in the meantime.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
