1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. Leave granted to the advocate on record of the private respondent to file vakalatnama in the department in course of the day.

3. The instant writ petition was filed praying for a direction upon the Sub-Divisional Officer to conclude the proceeding initiated under the West Bengal Public Land (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1962 for removal of the unauthorized occupants.

4. Learned advocate representing the State respondents has produced a copy of the order dated 30th December, 2025 passed by the SubDivisional Officer, Baruipur, South 24 Parganas wherefrom it appears that the proceeding has been concluded and the Block

Development Officer was directed to demolish/remove the unauthorized construction.

5. Learned advocate representing the petitioner and the learned advocate representing the private respondent submits that copy of the said order was never communicated to them.

6. A copy of the order dated 30th December, 2025 has been handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner and the private respondent, namely, Sailen Mondal in Court today.

7. The date of communication of the aforesaid order for all practical purposes shall be today, that is, 27th March, 2026.

8. It will be open for the parties to take further necessary steps in the matter in accordance with law, if so advised.

9. The writ petition stands disposed of.

10. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
