1. Heard learned lawyers for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Minor victim stated that the petitioner had forcibly raped her.

3. In view of the aforesaid evidence and nature of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

4. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.

5. Trial court is directed to conclude the trial at an early date following the mandate under section 35(2) of the POCSO Act. (Gaurang Kanth, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
