Pleader, Mr. S. Dhar .... For the State This writ petition has been instituted to impugn the order dated 28th November, 2023 passed in an original application being OA No. 2278 of 2021 (LRTT). By the order impugned, the BL & LRO was directed to submit a report clarifying the discrepancy indicated therein and the matter was made returnable on 21st June, 2024.

Mr. Dutta, learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that a direction be passed upon the learned Tribunal for expeditious disposal of the original application. Mr. Siddique being assisted by Mr. Dhar produces certain documents and contends that lands-in-question have been vested in the State.

Heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties.

Let the documents, as produced on behalf of the State, is taken on record.

Answering to our query, Mr. Dhar submits that prior to the returnable date, the report, as directed by the learned Tribunal would be submitted.

In view thereof, no interference is called for in this writ petition and consequently, the same is disposed of, however, without any order as to costs.

Since the judicial institutions are committed to objective and timely outcomes, it is expected that the learned Tribunal shall make utmost efforts to dispose of the original application expeditiously without granting adjournment unless it is found to be unavoidable.
