And In Re : Tarikul Alam @ Tariqul Alam ..... petitioner Mr. Partho Sarathi Das Mr. Kaushik Biswas Mr. Shanta Sarkar ... for the petitioner Mr. Neguive Ahmed, learned APP Ms. Trina Mitra ... for the State Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits he is in custody for one year and three months. He renews his prayer for bail.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits charge has been framed and date has been fixed for recording evidence.

We have considered the materials on record. There are materials implicating the petitioner in the murder. Trial has progressed to some extent. Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. (Ajay Kumar Gupta, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
