The primary prayer of the petitioner is a direction upon the police authority to take steps in terms of the representation submitted on 24th July, 2023.

Learned counsel for the private respondents denies the contents of the representation and submits that there are cases and counter cases pending between the parties. The report submitted by the State refers to several cases under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and orders passed therein which are not in force as on date.

On prayer of the petitioner, liberty is granted to submit a comprehensive representation before the police authority ventilating his grievance. On receipt of such representation, the police authority shall deal with the same in accordance with law.

In the meantime, the police authority shall keep strict vigil in the area in order to ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
