Matter is heard when learned advocate representing the petitioner appears on virtual mode.

However, State respondents are represented by learned advocates.

The grievance of the petitioner is based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner FIR is yet to be registered.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 10th March, 2026 of the Inspector-in-Charge, Shibpur PS and same is taken on record.

From the said communication dated 10th March, 2026, it appears that based on an email of the petitioner FIR was lodged and a criminal proceeding being Shibpur PS Case No. 111/26 dated 9th March, 2026 under Sections 85/316(2)/351(2)/3(5) of BNS 2023 has been

initiated.

It is also disclosed in the communication dated 10th March, 2026 that steps are being taken to take the investigation into logical conclusion.

On perusal of the communication dated 10th March, 2026 it appears that grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.

No further order need be passed on this writ petition.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

10. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
