Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police station on or about 20th January, 2025, no steps were taken. The dispute and difference between the petitioner and the private respondents relate to orchard and their fruits. Petitioner submits that the petitioner was physically assaulted and in spite of informing the police authorities, no steps were taken.

Learned advocate for the State submits a report which reflects that at the relevant point of time proceedings under Section 126 of the BNSS was drawn for maintaining peace and tranquility.

Having considered that the police authorities at the relevant point had taken steps, I direct that in case the petitioner has materials in his possession, he would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate under the relevant provisions of law. Learned Magistrate would in such circumstances take steps as he deems fit and proper.

In view of the police authorities earlier taking steps, I direct that the police authorities would oversee that there is no further violation of law and order.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 4970 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

There will be no order as to costs.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
