1. The Inspector-in-charge, Baguiati Police Station has filed a report dated 25th April, 2023, which is kept with the record.
2. It appears therefrom that an earlier complaint against the private respondents has already been investigated and charge-sheet being C.S. No. 37 of 2023 dated 31st January, 2023 has been filed under Sections 341/323/427/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. It is submitted that investigation into FIR No. 149 of 2023 dated 20th March, 2023 under Sections 420/406/325/506 of the Indian Penal Code is going on.
4. Counsel for the petitioners submits that accused person has fled.
5. Baguiati Police Station shall obtain warrant of arrest immediately and take further steps to compel the accused to participate in the investigation.
6. It is explained by the police that the petitioners have themselves been visiting the Investigating Officer of the case in the evening and until late hours.
7. The Investigating Officer of the case shall avoid calling the petitioners after 8:00 P.M. and the petitioners shall co-operate in the investigation with the Investigating Officer of the case.
8. It is expected that the investigation into FIR No. 149 of 2023 dated 20th March, 2023 shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from date.
9. With the aforesaid directions, both these writ petitions are disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
